1. Short title and commencement
This Ordinance may be cited as the Chief Justice (Responsibilities) Ordinance 2022 and shall come into operation on such day as the Governor may appoint by Notice published in the Gazette.2. Interpretation
In this Ordinance—“Chief Justice” means the person appointed as Chief Justice under sections 77(2) and 87(1)(a) of the Constitution;“Court of Appeal” means the Court of Appeal constituted by section 80 of the Constitution;“President of the Court of Appeal” means the person appointed as President of the Court of Appeal under sections 80(3) and 87(1)(a) of the Constitution.3.
